This true classic certainly has all credentials needed to claim championship status, and every player tackling the course knows that every aspect of their game will be examined. It is a fine example of how a course can test the best to the ultimate and yet still be played and enjoyed to the full by shorter hitters. One thing's for sure though, no one can expect to shoot the lights out at East London.

Few course of this quality can be played for such a reasonable rate. It's never out of the top 20 in the rankings and remains one of SA's top traditional golf experiences.
